1st September 2006

Welcome to September, and a piece of CAT5 cable! Pretty colours! Not really very interesting at all.

2nd September 2006

A trip into town with the intention of some "street photography". The only problem is, it's hard work, I always feel like I'm intruding, or people are wondering what I'm doing, so I was a bit more subtle with this one. I'm not sure about the angle, it might have worked better in portrait.

3rd September 2006

This album was getting a bit too much play on my iPod in my car, so I took a photo dedicated to that! Check out my old-skool iPod aswell!

4th September 2006

This was one of those photos that I had to shoot because it was likely that it wasn't going happen again for a while, and let me save any photos that I could "stage" for other days. Just after I took this, the spider jumped off the web and disappeared, which scared the hell out of me, because I was looking through the viewfinder at the time and I didn't know where it had gone!

5th September 2006

Some trees in the back garden, both a shade of green, but I thought the monochrome might be interesting, and it's made them look like almost opposite colours!

6th September 2006

A picture of the house bricks. Nothing really interesting there.

7th September 2006

An absolutely gorgeous sky out of my window, those clouds are amazing, as are the colours!.

8th September 2006

This was on the way to Ipswich as Rob and I were going to Sweden on Saturday morning from Stansted, so Ipswich was a handy stop off! We stopped at various services on the way down, I was hoping to find some with a bridge so I could do some motorway light trails. The only services with a bridge had their bridge closed, so I ended up just taking a photo of my car in the car park. How disappointing!

9th September 2006

We're in Sweden now, more precisely, Liseberg, and even more precisely, the Ice Bar! It's a bar made of ice! And they serve overpriced vodka. But it's an excellent novelty, and we spent ages in there, and took lots of photos. It's a pity when we came out, my camera misted up for about an hour, and I couldn't take many pictures of Liseberg in the dark!

10th September 2006

We had two days in Sweden, so therefore, two days in Liseberg! Here's a shot of most of the park from the observation tower. The coaster in the foreground is Lisebergbanan, which is a fantastic terrain steel coaster. Liseberg has a special place in my heart! More Liseberg photos from the weekend can be found here.

11th September 2006

I'd had this shot planned for a while, and it began to worry me on the M6 when I was coming dangerously close to 77777 with the camera in the boot and nowhere to stop! Fortunately I got home with about 12 miles to spare, however, when I went to work in the morning, I forgot to put my camera in the car! Work and back is about a 12 mile round trip! Oh dear. That evening, I pulled up to my house on 77776, which is fortunate, so I grabbed the camera and drove around the block until that extra mile ticked over!

12th September 2006

It's my camping roll-mat, what WAS I thinking?!

13th September 2006

Some interesting colours and patterns on the plant in the kitchen!

14th September 2006

This was an attempt at a rotating zoom-burst. I figured I'd hold the zoom-ring still and rotate the camera body, getting a spirally zooming in effect. It sort of worked, but it's not great!

15th September 2006

Another contender for the worst photo of the project I think! It's a long exposure of my mouse on my desk. I was hoping the red light would create more of a cool glow, but it was not to be. I don't know where that green came from either.

16th September 2006

Poker night! With added Lizards! It's all a bit bizarre really isn't it! The lizard was cool though, their eyes are amazing, so inquisitive. Shame you can't really see them in the picture.

17th September 2006

Another pretty impressive sunset, though quite a close crop, so it's not the greatest quality! I rather like the little fluffy cloud in the top left though!.

18th September 2006

Stick the camera out the window, and wave it about a bit!

19th September 2006

One of my speakers, quite interesting textures in this one!

20th September 2006

Denim looks excellent in monochrome, so I decided to shoot a couple of pairs of jeans!

21st September 2006

I thought I'd give the water drops shot a go! Not the best attempt ever, it's pretty soft, still quite pretty though!

22nd September 2006

Another venture into town for some street photography, but it was raining, and town was dead, so there wasn't many people about. This was the best I could come up with!

23rd September 2006

Saturday at Flamingoland for another CF-Live event. I hardly took any pictures of Roller Coasters, so I used the Bongo Warriors as the photo of the day! They were quite impressive to watch really, if a little camp! The rest of the Flamingoland pictures can be found here.

24th September 2006

Sunday was the second half of the CF-Live at Lightwater Valley! Here's The Ultimate. It's a rather long coaster, this shot is supposed to show you the distance between the first and second lifthills, I'm not sure if you can tell that, but it's a bloody long way! The rest of the Lightwater Valley pictures can be found here.

25th September 2006

It's my Silver Star pin badge that I got in Germany in the summer of 2005! A bad photo, but one of the coolest bits of roller coaster merchandise I've ever seen! There was a nice tie clip aswell!

26th September 2006

Whoops! I went to open my passenger door to clean my wing mirrors, and managed to rip the handle off it! Stupid French cars. This was one of those photos that makes the project into a kind of diary, it's not photographically good, but it was a good record of that particular day.

27th September 2006

Burgers! Cooking!

28th September 2006

The mirror stuff in my little torch has quite a cool pattern, and the blue tinge of the LEDs is cool, so I thought I'd make a photo of it!

29th September 2006

One of those generic photos of... nothing really. It's part of next door's house, and some road and stuff.

30th September 2006

Another trip to Alton Towers, Rob and I arrived at the Towers only to find it was a "Gaydar Day"... oh dear! It was quite possibly one of the funniest days I've ever had at the Towers though! I didn't dare take many photos though, so I just got this quick shot of Rita!
