What is it?
Back in March 2006 I bought my first Digital SLR camera; a Canon EOS 10D. I could finally be as creative as I wanted, without the equipment holding me back. I decided to challenge myself to take (at least) one photo every day for a year, hence "The 365 Project". On the 15th March 2006, I took the first photo at Thorpe Park, and on the 14th March 2007, I finished with a clichéd "mirror shot". The idea of The 365 Project was to improve my photography by keeping it constant. I believe I have achieved this. The old site in its entirety can be found here.
So what's the plan now? Well, looking back through the 365 photos, there was a lot of rubbish in there. I was taking photos because I had to, not because there was something nice to take photos of. Having said that though, it certainly made me look at the world in a different way, and I now have a massive urge to visit every country in the world to take photos of it!
I'm still taking photos, but now I'm looking at quality over quantity.
